Northwestern University

Bachelor's, Theatre, Gender Studies, Integrated Marketing Communications

I first realized how creative and impactful marketing could be when I put together a proposal for Red Eye Chicago's digital magazine. I studied film and history abroad in Prague, then acting in London. I knew I always wanted to travel, write, and help shape the way millennials view, think, act and buy. I have an uncanny ability to relate to almost anyone I meet and can coax them into sharing their story with the world. If I can do this kind of collaborative work around the world for brands and help shape their mission, I'd be fulfilled.

Shirley Hamilton Inc. Talent Agency

I learned about my passion for storytelling through acting in commercials such as Molina Healthcare's Patricia Ramirez national commercial, producing and starring in my own film, DollFace, and writing and conceptualizing my own content for print, social media, webisodes, and short films.

Acting and theatre was and always will be my first LOVE. Storytelling is kinda my things. Emotionally accessible, open, a superb listener, and an empathetic human fascinated with the many facets of human behavior.
Gender and sexuality studies fell into my lap because of my freshmen class, The Politics of Beauty, of which I learned the meaning of male and female perceptions of beauty and the societal scripts that have helped build those in our minds.
Integrated Marketing Communications came to me a bit later when I knew I needed to learn a trade. I desired to learn about business communications, and marketing to successfully pursue all of my passions with a set of reality blasting tools in my toolbelt.
