Successes in position:
- Involved in the transition to a new mass notification platform. Got out quick information to staff on the transition, what to expect, and how to register.
- Created standards in notification sending. Defined difference between advisories and alerts; and how that message was sent. This creates efficiency in notification sending.
- Involved in meeting situational awareness deliverables. Finalized a situational awareness toolkit, created data collection documents for the situational awareness toolkit, and share with our regional partners.
WA SECURES responsibilities:
Completing drills for SRHD staff, all staff call-down, and Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Improving response rates with follow-up to drills, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
Creating templates, .csv files, phone/e-mail scripts, evaluation criteria, and implementation process
WA SECURES Expansion Project responsibilities:
Participating in the Department of Health SECURES USER Group for Everbridge evaluation, completed Everbridge capabilities report, attended Everbridge webinars to explore capabilities. Participating in state-wide transition of WA SECURES platform from Intermedix to Everbridge. Participating in conference calls, train-the-trainer for Everbridge. Reviewing WA SECURES/Everbridge capabilities with Region 9 Local Health Jurisdictions (LHJs) and community partners, helping Region 9 LHJs complete WA SECURES message deliverables.
Other Public Health Emergency Response Program Responsibilities:
Assisting with Alternate Care Facility full-scale exercise, creating activation checklist, updating Deployment Manual. Updating Emergency Response Plans; creating an initial event activation checklist, and ESF-8 activation checklist. Championing Office 365 implementation for the Public Health Emergency Management and Response program. Website Content Management for the Public Health Emergency Management and Response Program
