University of Pennsylvania
Bachelor of Arts, International Relations
May 2015
At Penn, I had both a broad and deep education. Within my major, I concentrated in the East Asian political economy. I minored in French. I dabbled in computer programming, graphic design, and Islamic studies.
I had the opportunity to study abroad twice, in Tours, France, and in Yaoundé, Cameroon. In Cameroon, I attended the Université Catholique d'Afrique Centrale, lived with Cameroonian family, and took a Language Pledge to speak only French for the entire semester. Influenced by my experiences abroad, I wrote my senior thesis on the impact of Chinese developmental finance on Cameroonian development.
