Summer Undergraduate Research Experience

During the summer of 2011, I conducted a qualitative content analysis for my research topic: "Portrayals and Stereotypes of Germans U.S. Social Media Platforms". This was done as part of Elon's Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE). I was one of 50 students selected for this highly-competitive, 8-week program and I was the only student representing the School of Communications. Through this program, I enhanced my qualitative research and writing skills as well as my understanding of my undergraduate studies from an interdisciplinary view. I plan to use my research for further publications and presentations.
