Peer Educator in Financial Literacy

•Provide 1-on-1 consultations for students of the university to address problems involving money management, building credit, managing their debt and financing study abroad programs.
•Present for University 101 (required freshman entry course) classes and provide an introduction to basic financial concepts and practices. Inform students of budgeting methods, how they can finance their education and gain control of their finances.
•Present custom workshops for sport teams, student clubs and fraternity/sorority chapters. The group can request any topic in finance that interests them most. Topics of the workshops may include financial goal setting, identity theft, loans and scholarship and credit.
