Technical Analyst working in a team of 10 supporting all Main Line of Business Applications across the Group (globally). Assume team lead in manager’s absence chairing weekly team meeting reviewing open incidents and change requests in ServiceNow. Collaborate with, train and mentor colleagues where required.
Provide subject matter expertise for Central Time/MatterSphere (co-existing time recording, billing and document management systems), Infor SUN Accounts v 4.2.6 (accounts system), Simply Personnel (HR System), HR Sharepoint system, Cognos TM1 and Expense Systems (all have a SQL backend). Additional Interface tools fall within the remit.
Duties cycle between app maintenance/support, T-SQL scripting/data fixes, data analysis/interpretation & ad-hoc reporting (SQL/Excel), modification/creation of SSRS reports, legacy Crystal reports and administer feature requests in Sharepoint (2008/2010). Applications are delivered via local installs or legacy Citrix & Citrix Xenapp platforms.
Undertake data take-on for newly acquired Loss Adjusting businesses, requiring data cleansing, creation of new database schemas, collaboration with Group Finance to define Chart of Accounts and creation of SUN Ledgers.
Work with Senior Management to review and oversee yearly ‘Rate Revision’ and ‘Budget’ upload process ensuring accuracy through to completion.
Resolve data integrity issues effecting Month/Year end management reporting. Identify/Correct variances between time recording/accounts systems.
Ensure monthly/quarterly (Finance and IT) reports are reviewed/signed off for Audit Purposes. Liaise directly with Audit teams.
Liaise with vendors, third party support, internal stake holders at all levels. Work closely with Infrastructure, Development & Helpdesk teams where required.
