Soko

I'm a designer and supply chain nerd that has spent my life working at the intersection of design, technology, and international development. I believe strongly that our world needs a new OS. Soko

Founder

Soko is an award winning accessories company that uses design to empower communities and promote conscious style. We've harnessed the power of tech innovation to combat the unethical fashion supply chain, ensuring that artisans retain an unprecedented 30% of profit and that you can access affordable, modern accessories handmade from ethical materials by artisan entrepreneurs from around the world.

Soko X Pencils of Promise

The Soko X POP collection will donate 20% of every purchase toward school builds in Ghana. We see this as the next generation of fundraising, where both the creation and the sale of the product supports under-served communities around the world.

Introducing Soko

I founded Soko with Catherine Mahugu and Ella Griffith to disrupt the patterns of poverty found across the creative and maker class in the developing world. Soko was born out of a love of design, the desire to connect and empower entrepreneurs via the use of the technology around us, and a belief that women can change the world.

The New Luxury

We work with artisans in Kenya to redefine the aesthetics of ethical jewelry, creating modern accessories that appeal to all women. Soko is proud to empower nearly 1000 artisan through the ethical production of jewelry that is trend - driven, accessible, and made from premium, sustainable materials.
