Northumbria Students' Union

Events volunteer

Throughout my time at Northumbria university I have volunteered for multiple events including RAG Week where I worked as part of a large team to run events to raise over £80,000 for 6 worthy charities. I also volunteered for the university’s welcome week where I helped new students move into their university accommodation and ran multiple events throughout the week to help them feel more at home. I also assisted in many night time events when I would need to maintain a cool demeanour to handle different situations which occurred with sometimes some rather difficult patrons. I was awarded a volunteering award for the time I have dedicated towards various events.
