Originally started as a service engineer at lift serve based out of Warrington and carrying out routine service and repairs on a wide variety of passenger and goods lift both traction, hydraulic and fearless machines. After two years I was transferred to the Sheffield office where Orona had taken over the company, originally I carried out the same duties until becoming the lead engineer responsible for Severn service engineers and two repair engineers organising service routes and call outs also organising repairs and equipment. I was required to liaise with customers to organise quotes and plan repairs for engineers and assisting with problematic lifts.
I was promoted two years later to the company account manager responsible for all the customers in the area ensuring that they received information and quotes for repairs required, checking insurance reports for required repairs and arranging and attending meetings with customers to discuss their contracts and servicing/repair needs.
