Youth Challenge International

Youth Ambassador (Volunteer)

Youth Challenge International is a leading global youth development organization that promotes youth innovation to drive positive change. As a volunteer ambassador in Tanzania, I planned and facilitated leadership development and business English skills workshops to local youth aged 19-25. Workshop topics included public speaking, conflict styles, communication, gender equality, goal setting, and event planning, Business skills topics included basic training on customer service, negotiation, tour operations, and restaurant work.

During pre-departure fundraising, I surpassed the organization’s goal of $1800 by using cold-calling and networking skills to liaise with new professional sponsors, and launched strategic social media and marketing campaigns to coordinate three community fundraisers and engage personal networks for donations.
