Foreman Joiner/ assistant site manager
April 2012 — Present
I started at this company as a foreman joiner to assist in a variety of projects ranging from fitting doors, kitchens and bathrooms to large scale renovations and traditional trussed roofing roofing, It didn't take me long to quickly progress up the ladder taking on more and more responsibility to become assistant to the site manager as well as performing my current duties. In this more responsible role it was my job to complete weekly planning sheets to ensure the overall build programme is met. While providing direction to individual contractors and contractors’ management to ensure quality standards are met. I also had a part in Resolving any conflicts that may occur between operations. I Co-ordinated with the Site Manager to ensure the availability of materials to meet the construction programme and maintain a daily diary to record site events and requirements I also wrote weekly program reports and attended meetings with the building team to ensure that our overall quality and program targets where on track for practical completion. As a 1st aider and one the key responsible people I have a duty to uphold and enforce all HSE standards a complied with and to provide a safe working environment for my colleagues to work in without fear of injuring themselves.
