Identified new options for moisture and oxygen barrier technology using advanced deposition and chemistry methods to create a step-change to the current 50 year-old technologies. Ran a holistic project involving academic literature and patent reviews, collaboration with more than 20 universities, national laboratories and start-ups worldwide. Evaluating over 50 approaches of various promise.
Applied “Mastering Innovation and Design Thinking” short program at MIT to consumer-based evaluation of new technology to understand consumer understanding, interface and value of very early stage technologies to drive holistic design.
Invented innovative aerosol packaging and delivery of snacks by working closely with consumers and research partners to provide an exceptional usage and eating experience. Led the development and testing of 5 prototypes ranging from mild to wild complexity across a host of food categories.
