Serve as Chief Executive Officer, leading staff and board of directors in providing early career artist training, mentor opportunities, new play development, and adult educational programming. Led planning/execution/fundraising/construction of The Drama League Theater Center, a 3,500-square-foot, multi-use creative space for artists and audiences in TriBeCa, New York City, which opened in April 2013. Develop and implement programs, including the nationally-renowned Directors Project. Evaluate program effectiveness, refine program elements and resources. Develop industry and corporate partnerships, creative alliances, and sposnorships to increase TDLNY’s utility to the theatre industry. Serve as bridge between cultural institutions, artists, and audiences nationwide. Programs have exhibited a 212% gain in attendance and membership since 2001. Annual budget has risen from $695,000 to $1.5M, serving over 2,000 artists and 15,000 audience members each year.
