As President of Digital for Time Inc.’s Style and Entertainment Group (SEG), I oversaw PEOPLE.com, the most visited site in the publishing industry; EW.com; InStyle.com and Essence.com. Under my leadership, these sites reached over 20 million unique visitors per month; generated over one billion page views; and garnered a Twitter following of over 8 million. I was also responsible for the mobile and tablet strategy for these brands, including the launch of over 20 consumer products, reaching more than 4 million users, available on the mobile web or as applications.
In addition to product development, I oversaw acquisitions, large-scale distribution partnerships and best-in-class social media and search engine optimization practices. In 2010, I led the acquisition of StyleFeeder, Time Inc.’s first major investment in e-commerce, and managed the acquisition and integration of Celebrity Baby Blog.
