- Aman Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mafraq, Since July 2013, Aman Jordanian Association, in partnership with International Medical Corps (IMC), has been implementing a project focusing on providing rehabilitation and post-operative care for Syrian refugees in Jordan through a center operated in the city of Mafraq.
-This position allowed me to learn new things related to medications, medical supplies and their types and sizes, prices and best offers, in addition to directly dealing with Syrian patients and helping the physicians choosing the right medication for the case in hand.
- Learning logistics principles (Taking a 4 hours course at IMC by their logistic staff), chain of command, PR, GRN and how purchasing material take place.
-Another skills Non- Pharmacy related; reporting on regular bases and non-regular to IMC (with excellent reviews from our foreign colleagues), helping in the foundation of the Rehab Center, documentations (polices and procedure, infection control policies, job description, medical and non- medical evaluations, nurse staff examination, six English published newsletters, internal system documentation and many other important documents translated into English and submitted to IMC).
-Facebook page management
-Establishment of many forms for managing and regulating chores and procedures at the center.
-Being part of the MHPSS (Mental Health Psycho-social Support) )activity coordination for Syrian inpatients, establishment of activity cycles, and being part of facilitating and regulating different activities.
-Reporting, proposal and managing Excel spreed sheets for AJA clinics for USAID and UNFPA; Coprehensive narrative reports for Quarterly and monthly reports for Family Planning projects funded by the USAID and UNFPA through Aman's 3 static clinics and 2 Mobile clinics in Jordan.
- Hostess/ doing presentations for our foreign guests at Aman Center; Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, EU and UNCHR.
