Initiatives of Change International

Council Member

Member of the International Council, of Initiatives of Change, a world-wide network in 60 countries. An enriching opportunity to work with people from a variety of countries. I represented Latin America, as well as women.

I gained interest in the dynamics of diversity in leadership. What I am most inspired by is the work that people do on the ground giving life to ethical leadership and building trust across the world’s divides.

One of the contributions I have been able to make has been the launch of a regular giving programme done for the first time by IofC International.

Initiatives of Change International is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working for peace, reconciliation and human security worldwide. It has Special Consultative Status with the
Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and Participatory Status at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.


Authentik Leadership


Authentik Leadership was born to inspire people on an inner journey with the aim to connect with their truth to expand their horizons and live fulfilled lives, whether at work, business, family and in order to achieve social change. From two-day workshop to speaking engagements. The brand has now evolved to bring up the new skills and experiences gained since then as 'Changemakers Forward'.

After visiting a Lacandon community in Chiapas, we received a message from the community expressing their desire to plant more trees. We created this project to support their work while connecting them with people in the cities who could not only plant a tree there but also connect with the community and benefit from their sustainability values.


Fundación Ethos

Director, Leadership Development

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing a national leadership programme to empower young leaders as agents of change, supporting them in the achievement of their career aspirations.

The program was composed by four modules: Residential training (one month), Community work (two months), Internship abroad (3 months) and Mentoring (3 months). The participants had the chance to work with a coach and took part in the International Conferences of Initiatives of Change in Caux, Switzerland in 2008.

Change goes beyond the development of strategies and skills. It requires an integral development and a high level of ethics in order to incorporate the type of leadership that can transform society.

This was an intellectual, ethical and human journey. We wanted participants to be inspired, to reflect, to develop and to become true agents of change.

Intel Mexico

Specialist, Marketing-Communications

Responsible for the management of the POP materials for Intel Mexico, working virtually with a dynamic team in Brazil. Managed suppliers and improved the delivery based on a mix of better quality, delivery times and cost.

I am grateful for having had the opportunity to work for a global company as it was conducting a global re-branding.

Marketing Coordinator - For a Change magazine

To this day, I remain grateful that I began my career at the Initiatives of Change Centre in London.

Before graduating from university I was invited by the Editors of For A Change magazine, to take on the first marketing role they had opened. I used to want to launch a magazine that would inspire and fulfill people in a meaningful way.

In this role I did everything from marketing research to promotions, to magazine send outs.

Coordination with the Editors was an integral part of this position, as I could convey the message they wanted to convey, in the marketing materials.

I recruited the person to take my role, giving me the opportunity to convey to them the amazing experience this had been for me.
