Just Call Us Volunteers

My time at Just Call Us Volunteers was, well, voluntary. It wasn't continuous but it was a very good learning process. While I was here I learned how to cook a wide variety of foods, as well as how to work in a packed kitchen making large batches of food in more than one area. What I took out of it most was becoming proficient at working in a high paced environment that where everyone relied on each other and where every job was time sensitive. Other skills I took away were basic cleanliness, cleaning procedures, and time management, three very valuable skills when working in a kitchen.
