University of Washington

Bachelor's, International Studies Major and French Minor

I have been trying to figure out my passion for what seems a eon! Going to the University of Washington helped guide me along my path to self-discovery. I tried out almost every different type of class I could get my hands on. I may have changed my major a "few" times, but I finally decided to trust in my instincts and stick with International Studies and French. My education may not have led me to the most logical first career, but it helped to prepare me for the vast amount of possibilities available and instill in me the desire to chase after my dreams. Could not have asked for a better college experience!

A man said to the Buddha, "I want Happiness." Buddha said, first remove "I", that's ego, then remove "want", that's desire. See now you are left with only Happiness.

Université Montpellier III Paul Valéry

French, French

I spent the most amazing four months studying abroad in France my Junior year of college. It was truly a wonderful experience to immerse myself in the culture and language of a people that I had only read about in books in class. I explored neighboring towns and cities as much as possible to see all that I could in my short four months abroad. France est vraiment un pays magique!
