Project Engineer

All work was in Dutch Harbor/Unalaska, Alaska. The prime responsibility were to administer, monitor, and inspect the work such that the project is constructed in reasonable conformity with the plans, specifications, and special provisions for the Construction Contract.

Regan Engineering P.C. provided consultant services to the City of Unalaska. The Consultant provide full time construction inspection and administration during the construction contract(s) including attendance at the pre‐construction conference, thorough site inspection, attendance at regular job meetings, assistance to the Department in any design or contract dispute or interpretation of plans and specifications, monthly payment approval and final approval of the project. The Consultant record and produce meeting minutes for all meetings during the project.

It was the responsibility of the Consultant to administer, monitor, and inspect the Construction Contract such that the project is constructed in reasonable conformity with the plans, specifications, and special provisions for the Construction Contract. The Consultant observe the Contractor’s work to determine the progress and quality of work, identify discrepancies, report significant discrepancies to the Department, and direct the Contractor to correct such observed discrepancies.

Graduated on Deans List in 2013 with an understanding of CM business principles and knowledge of the technical aspects of the construction industry. Gained broad knowledge of building systems and construction techniques to enable functioning both in a construction office and on job sites.

Originally hired as Student Intern. right out of High School. Returned seasonally in-between University semesters as Field Inspector and eventually became Engineering Technician.
