•Responsible for composing a yearly marketing plan for all the stores (6 stores, 2 Starbucks- execution of their marketing plan, plus our online store), along with creating advertising campaigns for every event. This includes signage, emails, social/digital media and newspaper ads. Tracking results of coupons and promotions. As well as the use of the customer loyalty cards.
•Mange all the social media accounts, which includes posting, uploading pictures and respond to customers as quickly as possible. Use social media as a tool to receive feedback and enhance our customer experience. Since taking over the accounts I have tripled our amount of followers, and been able to encourage interaction.
•Co-ordinate vendor events such as author signings, department engagements, and various tradeshows.
•Keep up to date with the industry by participating in the National Association of College Stores (NACS) conferences and publications.
•Work with other internal departments such as enrolment and recruitment to achieve a seamless support system for student questions.
•Daily communication tasks to keep the staff of 100 informed and knowledgeable of upcoming events or important information.
•Special projects such as our Book Loan program which provides textbooks on loan to qualifying candidates.
•Planning and procurement of the proper supplies needed for merchandising. Meet regularly with buyers to ensure that the proper amount of space is allocated for programs/sales/new merchandise.
