Pratt Institute/Graduate Communications Committee

Social Media Manager

I joined the Graduate Communications Committee halfway through my second year at Pratt. The role of Social Media Manager opened up and I jumped right in. Engagement across all platforms increased by 700%. During my time the CC hosted three campus events; one a panel discussion that I lead. Prior to my hire, I consulted the CC for the all-female panel discussion: SPECTRUM.

SPECTRUM: a panel discussion

The identity of SPECTRUM fell in line with the CC's brand guideline for the 2015-2016 year. Poster design, social graphics, and welcome graphics all designed by me.

Pratt Institute

Master's, Communications Design

Graduated with Distinction and awarded the Pratt Circle Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. This program developed my eye and reshaped my approach and methodology to creative problem solving. I was able to dabble in several types of design to "wet my palette" and am now looking to find my niche as a design leader. My graduate thesis explored how language may/may not contribute to the lack of women in design leadership.
