A summer job two years in a row (2010 and 2011). Built and maintained regression models to map current practices of the agency, optimize efficiency and maximize profit. Presented models and findings to CEO and senior management. Wrote the user manual for the models for continued use. Consulted on other projects of the analytics team. Participated in young professionals group to learn tips and skills for the workplace.

Women without Borders is a women's empowerment organization that focuses on combating terrorism and violent extremism around the world. Provide research on people, events, and regions affected by violent extremism and current academic theories of terrorism, radicalism, and violent extremism. Write and edit articles being published by and about the organization. Work directly with founder of the organization and upper management.

Environmental Protection Agency

Intern for the Ethics Team

A summer internship in Washington D.C. with the Ethics team in the Office of General Council. Reviewed financial disclosure forms for high ranking EPA officials to identify possible conflicts of interest. Participated in interdepartmental planning meetings to apply a new federal ethics law. Planned and organized the EPA internal electronic filing system for the implementation of the new law. Wrote EPA-wide ethics briefings.
