Organize department library. Assist students with course requirement questions. Aide faculty and staff of the M.A.P. department by answering phone calls, running errands, and making copies.
Worked on Barcoding Project to tag every object in the collection with new barcode tags.
Assist the Coordinator of Development and Special Events with fundraising events by creating mailings, managing guest lists, and assisting with guest queries. Help to update social media sites and marketing. Update and manage membership lists through use of Raiser's Edge database software.
Worked with museum database systems, assisting researchers, curators, and archivists with research projects. Created accession files for the museum’s Duchess of Mecklenburg files. Catalogued the museum’s blueprints. Scanned negatives, transparencies, slides, and images as part of a grant project.
Assisted with gallery openings. Edited the gallery’s web page and merchandise page. Created blogs in French. Bridged language barriers by aiding in communications between owner and non-French-proficient artists by writing email translations. Assisted English-speaking visitors. Handled and photographed artworks in preparation for gallery openings.
Created new record group for the museum and library’s Henrietta Wilson artist file. Created summary “object guides,” as visitor aides, for two of the museum’s objects. Organized, cataloged, and helped to house the museum’s blueprints.
