• Work directly with church leadership to implement church initiatives.
• Hire and manage graphic and web design staff.
• Manage and coordinate efforts of church volunteers to meet communication goals.
• Develop communication strategies to reach 4,000+ membership including web site, weekly emails, and foyer loops.
• External communication including press releases, newspaper, radio, cable, and peer-to-peer promotion. Select and purchase media advertising to meet demographic and initiatives.
• Responsible for print, web, and video production to promote, compliment, and reinforce sermon topics.
• Write and/or edit press releases, testimonies, video scripts, and brochure copy.
• Team leader and media manager for major capital campaign resulting in excess of
$3 million building funds committed.
• Team leader and media manager for major community outreach effort (Better Together).
• Special event planning including MENSFEST Car and Motorcycle show (4,000+ attendees) and community outreach events.
• Design and oversee installation of internal building image including signage, event signage and display, and special missions initiative wall.
