Guardian Life Insurance Company is one of the four largest mutual life insurance companies in the United States. Guardian’s commitment to values have helped it successfully weather many market cycles in it’s over 150 years of existence. As a mutual company, we are owned by our policyholders, which allows Guardian to take the long view and invest soundly to maintain a strong capital base. This commitment to long term success has allowed Guardian to pay a dividend to our Whole Life policyholders every year since 1868.
As the Implementation Manager for Guardian’s Individual Life Product Development department, I oversee the implementation of new products and riders, enhancements to currently sold products, and additional system updates for compliance, regulatory, and market changes. The following are my primary areas of focus:
✔ Manage the development and execution of project plans across 30 plus systems
✔ Lead cross-departmental project teams and coordinate with other project managers
✔ Oversee the development of business requirements documents by business analysts
✔ Attain stakeholder approval on key decisions, scope changes, cost adjustments, etc.
✔ Foster solid cross-departmental relationships through strong personal and technical partnerships
