Elizabeth Hartig

Senior Health Center Operations Coordinator

Planned Parenthood

Boston, MA

Strategic thinker and planner at heart. Driven by goals, data, and caffeine. I love breaking big problems down into smaller parts and tackling them head-on. I'm looking to grow my career and am interested in exploring the consulting world.

Planned Parenthood

Senior Health Center Operations Coordinator

I work on data analysis and project management. I researched and taught myself queuing theory and used it to help reduce patient wait times by 30 minutes. I oversee all projects that bring new services to our patients and ultimately focus on how to make Planned Parenthood better for our patients, thinking about how to systematically and efficiently bring new services to the organization that will improve the business and meet the needs of our patients, not just one or the other. I put a high price on doing things in a logical, well thought out way.

The Fund for the Public Interest

Assistant Canvass Director; Regional Administrator

My first job out of college gave me exposure to so many things- office and business management, fundraising, and people management. I learned what my passions are- human rights, in all capacities- and what I enjoy doing- operations, strategic planning, and business administration. I worked with amazing people and strive to replicate that environment in everything I do.

Questrom School of Business

MBA, Non-Profit Management; Strategy

I've known since I was little that I wanted to work somewhere that impacted the world and that someday I wanted to run the show. That's what drove me to business school. I'll be getting my degree in non-profit management and strategy. I've completed my first year while working full time and am starting to think about taking a directed study on family planning funding.

Sarah Lawrence College

BA, Political Science

I went to school so I could work on issues that matter. SLC allowed me to do that, but more importantly, it taught me to how to think. My education taught me that there are many sides to every issue and to make the change you want to see in the world, you need to know those sides and be prepared to combat them. I bring that skill to work with me every day, thinking through operational issues to produce a complete product for patients and combating opposition to the progressive causes I work for and support.
