Phoenix, AZ

Hi I'm Elizabeth! My passion is creating and promoting environmentally-friendly, sustainable infrastructure and buildings in order to improve our present and future urban systems. I am searching for a career that embodies that passion while still using my engineering background.

I currently work at Psomas in the Transportation group.

Arizona State University

MSE, Civil (Sustainability) Engineering

I completed my MSE in Sustainable Civil Engineering in one year (and one year of shared graduate/undergraduate courses) in the Accelerated Masters Program at ASU. I had two major focuses - sustainable transportation and buildings, both of which were explored through my project-based classes. Green buildings were further explored during my graduate research.

Arizona State University

BSE, Civil Engineering

I graduated with my Civil Engineering degree in 3.5 years in December 2013. My last year of the BSE degree also included some shared graduate classes within sustainable civil engineering. I learned all of the basics of civil engineering: transportation, water, geotechnical, structural, materials, etc.

I have studied energy retrofit case studies by numerous organizations like the Department of Energy and the New Buildings Institute, and compiled a number of these case studies to be put into a new case studies library for small commercial buildings in partnership with the 2030 Districts across the nation. The resulting paper from this work can be found here:
