The Commonwealth Club of California

Program Coordinator

As Program Coordinator at The Commonwealth Club of California I produce the Club's East Bay programs in Lafayette, occasional San Francisco programs, and the Club's California Wellness Foundation programs to fulfill the California Wellness Foundation grant. Production of programs is everything from brainstorming speaker ideas, to booking the speaker(s), venue and moderator, promoting and marketing the event, assigning volunteer jobs and taking care of all details relating to the event.

I also act as the staff liaison for The Club's Member Led Forums. The 15 Member Led Forums produce almost half of The Club's total programs, and as Program Coordinator I support the Forum Chairs and Forum Program Organizers in booking venues, entering their programs into the system, communicating their facilities needs to the appropriate people and problem solving anything that arises with their programs.
