I am responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of the team and other resources within the clinic.
My primary objectives include the health and safety of the team and patients.
Development of a superior team, clinic and employee-orientated company culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance. Personal ongoing development.
Provision of effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action.
Maintaining employee work schedules including job rotation, training, vacations and paid time off, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling.
Appropriately communicating organisation information through staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email communication.
Consciously creating a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organisation’s and that emphasises the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organisation.
Leading employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
Recruitment, interviewing, selection, hiring, and employment of an appropriate number of employees. Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating areas in accordance with the clinics’ policies and procedures.
Empowering employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
Delegating responsibilities and expect accountability and regular feedback.
Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among various members of the team that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and area to succeed.
