Program Coordinator

• Oversee key aspects of the development and implementation of the Preconception Peer Educators (PPE) program
• Project Manage the Office of Minority Health national PPE program, part of “Healthy Baby Initiative” campaign
• Facilitate program advisors
• Coordinate advisory council meetings
• Coordinate monthly webinar series
• Develop and host monthly webinar series for the PPE program
• Coordinate with OMH communications department for newsletter content, information dissemination and new media output
• Award/verify PPE certification/requirements
• Manage PPE and faculty roster
• Oversee summer PPE office intern. Create work plan and supervise progress
• Provide support and materials for on-campus PPE groups
• Provide career development opportunities for PPEs
• Provide grants for activities and development of PPE campus groups
• Create standardized training material for PPE trainings
• Organize and prepare trainings in collaboration with local CBOs and Universities for over 100 students per training
• Conduct post training follow up with all students and faculty
• Gather and organize data for program analysis
