Edward Medina is an Amazon bestselling author of high fantasy, dark horror, and epic steampunk adventure books, short stories, and poems. His combined works have earned over one hundred, Amazon and Goodreads five star reviews from readers, reviewers, bloggers, authors and teachers.

Edward's current titles include It Is Said, the first release in the Mathias Bootmaker and the Keepers of the Sandbox trilogy. A Murder of Crows and The Demise of Foxy Jack are the first two releases in a series under the banner Adventures of the X Pirates. These three books have appeared on the Amazon top ten bestseller lists in both the Fantasy and Action Adventure categories. His short stories Awilda, The Corpse of Madeline Hill, and Casanova each debuted in the Amazon top five bestseller lists for Short Stories Horror.

His short story, The Conversation, was selected for inclusion in the anthology Satan's Toybox: Terrifying Teddies. His long form gothic poem, The Emperor's Nocturne, was selected for inclusion in the anthology Enter At Your Own Risk: Old Masters, New Voices, which was honored with a finalist nomination by the Horror Writers Association for their prestigious Bram Stoker Award.

As a freelance director Edward had early success on both the Off and Off-Off Broadway stages with the productions Changing Palettes, Best Interests, The Mothers, and Hanging On. Edward has always maintained a close connection to his theatrical roots and love of directing, producing, and all things production related. He formed Whitewolf Productions as an independent production company for personal professional projects.

Theatre credits include Off-Off Broadway produced, directed, and authored the book for the musical Freedom’s First Light: The Legend of Robin Hood. Produced, directed, and co-authored the book for the musical Frankenspell Superstar. Produced and directed theatre for young adults with Joshua and the Grandfather Clock, Danger Dinosaurs, and The Trial of Shady Magee.

In video and digital production co-produced, directed, and edited In the Draft, in association with Bump N Run Productions, To Save The Planet: A Musical Fable, in association with Center Stage Productions, and directed the United States segments of the international documentary Youth Ending Hunger for The Hunger Project.

Produced and directed video coverage of the Iroquois Nationals Lacrosse Championship, the Ellis Island Congressional Medal of Honor Ceremonies Honoring Carrie Dan, and The Albert Schweitzer Award Ceremonies Honoring Dr. Jushiro Naito.

Directed and produced the promotional videos For Two Days in May for the United Nations, and Insuring Your Future for The Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia, and the commercials Price Runner Goes to Alaska for Value Click Media, and the Coral Springs Honda Classic spot for the City of Coral Springs, Florida.

Produced and directed the live events For the Kids: A Musical Celebration of Youth and the Environment at Washington Square Church, The Children’s Earth Summit for the American Indian Community House, and served as the head of the NGO Advisory Board to, and production consultant for, the United Nations Global Youth Forum.

Established and headed an independent, multi-media entertainment company created in order to conceive and produce independent in-house projects for live events, film, video, and theatrical productions. While at the same time providing same services to outside nonprofit clients with promotional campaigns and events in order to assist them in their causes.

Provided branding, promotional design, and video production services for clients such as World Hunger Year, United Earth, Heart's Bend World Children's Center, Peace Child International - Holland, Save the Seas Campaign - Japan, the American Indian Law Alliance, the American Indian Community House, and the Albert Schweitzer Institute.

Developed and managed multi-media, large and small-scale events, providing press and public relations, marketing, stage and video production services for clients such as The Hunger Project, the Native American Council, the New York City Council on the Environment, the United Nations, and the United Nations Environment Programme.

Created and developed in-house designs and concepts for a large scale theme park entertainment complex called Sandbox Harbor. Full Character and Story Bible, comprehensive Park Design Bible, and detailed Project Business Plan were all completed. Site was chosen in the city of Daytona Beach, Florida.

Cultivated and secured strategic private, government, educational, financial, creative, and technical partner relationships which included funding and other support from key contacts including the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and the Volusia County Business Development Corporation.

Project was halted as a result of the events of 9/11.
