Supported over 120 employees and improved the quality of technical service within the business. Was hired to perform and improve upon all areas of IT. Reviewed event logs, solved errors, introduced new technologies to the company and its employees, managed daily backups, developed, implemented, and documented policies and procedures, and installed / maintained the following, not limited to: Active Directory, server roles and responsibilities, network infrastructure including wireless and VPN, hardware, software, documentation, system performance, the company websites, and more. Built a strong relationship with vendors for licensing, Internet, hardware, and other services. This prepared a “Jack-of-all-trades” Sysadmin.
* Assisted in two major CRM/ERP conversion from involving a D3 database system & a web-based app called NetSuite. Obtained experience with hosted Linux server solutions over VPN. Became an administrator of the CRM/ERP system. Gained considerable knowledge about managing, planning, and implementing thorough system conversions for a small- to medium-sized company
* Managed day-to-day activities in the company; includes nearly everything except the budgeting & project management of the department. Took great care and pride in employees, our customers, and the hardware & software systems of the business
