Digital Sales Manager

This position is unique for our company as I am the exclusive Digital Sales Manager within the Iowa, Nebraska, and Omaha District. At store level, I independently run the department, which involves developing a selling culture among booksellers and training them to respond to post-sale customer needs. I have to be self-motivated, knowledgable, and an effective communicator for the whole store to operate successfully. During my time in this position I have led my district in digital sales and currently stand 25% over my sales plan year-to-date.
This position requires effective community outreach in order to recruit new business. In addition to designing promotional letters and flyers, I have taken the initiative to create and maintain the store’s social media accounts for Facebook and Twitter. Reaching out to teachers and principals has resulted in over 20 central Iowa schools utilizing my product in their classrooms.
