GlobalGiving is like the etsy for, well, global giving. We make it possible for small, grassroots nonprofits (sellers) - who might not get heard of otherwise - to raise funds and be visible to donors (buyers) of all shapes and sizes. We're helping social entrepreneurs thrive.

I am totally in awe of young women in their 20s and 30s who are willing to take risks - either inside a company, by starting their own, or by choosing a path based on their passion. And I also just want to be involved with anything Fran Hauser is involved with. She's a rock star.

I have it.

Worn so many hats. GlobalGiving was a true start up social entreneurship when I started. I did strategy, marketing, partnerships, HR, a little bit of tech oversight and a lot of sweating. For the last few years I've led our corporate partnership team - we work with companies on their philanthropy, CSR, cause marketing and employee engagement programs.

FIrst job out of college. Learned what a morgage was. Learned how to price them and trade them in the capital markets. Learned about wall street. Figure out that I was fairly good with math and probabiities, as well as relationships. Did deals. Loved it.
