Representing clients varying from technology startups to educational institutes, I created digital marketing and communication plans that encompassed traditional out-of-home advertising, web, email, social and mobile conversations. With the goal to educate and collaborate with clients through every step of the execution process, I set up and provided performance analytics reports to summarize the performance of content programs and strategies in place.

Greatest accomplishment: Launching social media campaign resulting in over 3,000 new Facebook page likes within the first two months of the brand’s launch

YMCA of Greater Toronto

Digital Communications Assistant & Videographer

As a community manager I fostered two-way conversations with YMCA community members both online and face-to-face. With a focus on heightening inbound traffic for the brand’s official website, I developed original online content including video, photo and blog posts all with the YMCA’s members at the core of the content. In order to establish a cohesive online presence, I collaborated with other YMCA entities to create new SEO embedded websites, and train them on blogging and social media basics.

Greatest Accomplishment: Developed 3 different video series for the YouTube channel, garnering thousands of views and lead to doubled inquiries on personal training services offered at the Y

I had the incredible opportunity to travel to a school in Haiti with teachers from Voila Learning, to set up interactive educational technology; allowing students to access a Canadian education.

As a freelance writer, I contributed lifestyle and technology blog posts to popular blogs, as well as my own. Content varied from interracial dating, university lifestyle, technology review, frugal fashion, and productivity hacks.

In addition to writing, I often provided videography, photography and digital branding services to students and young entrepreneurs who otherwise would not have the means to access professional services. Providing event coverage, video resumes, professional headshots, social media audits, and copywriting assistance, I helped young professionals establish their online presences, and recognize the most powerful digital platforms for attaining their personal goals.
