In less then a year I have made my way from junior position to a Network Consulting Engineer for one of the most critical accounts in Russia and got CCIE certification. As a part of the Cisco Advanced Services team I am responsible for supporting customers in the most challenging and complicated activities regarding Routing, Switching and Unified Communications technologies.

After joining the company I focused mainly on wireless technologies and played a great role in company achieving new Cisco Partner status by passing Cisco certification exams and becoming CCNP-Wireless. My effective delivery of wireless site surveys results in cooperation with sales managers helped the company to increase sales of wireless equipment significantly. From just selling the equipment company switched to selling full cycle of wireless deployments – from site survey to equipment installation and fine tuning. I took part in projects as a systems engineer, developing and implementing wired and wireless network solutions both for businesses and public-sector companies.

In MPEI I was a part of the team supporting both University datacenter and campus network. I had an opportunity to get hands-on experience with network equipment and was deeply involved in projects regarding other technologies, for example, I took part in migration of University datacenter from physical machines to VMware ESX virtualized environment. I've been the distinguished engineer for software development team, which means I took care of all the infrastructure (workstations, network, virtual machines) needed to run the development process. I also supported Linux-based HPC systems that where used by University research teams. One of my responsibilities was maintaining campus wireless network and extending it according to users' requests.
