Official Job title: FBAK (food and beverage assistant kitchen ) Galley Stewarding Specialist
> Job description - work closely with F&B Manager, Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Maitre' D and Beverage Manager - weekly inspections
> Daily inspections to make sure the galley is kept clean, safe and sanitized to high standard, all equipment is in working condition, submit AVO'S and work orders sent and followed up on for maintenance
> Ensure galley equipment are cleaned following correct procedures
> Manage water consumption and maintain energy saving policy
> Manage disposal of wet food waste and burnable materials
> Prepare the ship for USPH (united states public health) inspection and any other visited country public health inspection
> Ensure that industrial strength chemicals are used in a safe and proper way
> Supervise and make schedules for a galley personal of 40 crew members
> Manage Kronos (time and attendance policy) and ILO ( internal labour organization ) violations
