Boots Retail International
November 2007 — January 2015
Started of by working as a member for the operations team; tasks include completing a Model Day from receiving delivery to stock control management. I have had responsibilities in cash handling tasks including being a safe key holder, and being an accountable member to hold store keys, and a responsible figure to run the operational task and to delegate workload for the weekend team.
Worked my way up to pharmacy lead dispenser in the store and increasing the number of items, forms and customers within the first year and beating our targets. Helped the pharmacists increase the number of services we provide such as vaccines and stop smoking clinics by promoting the services at events throughout Leicestershire. Networked with local hospitals and surgeries to provide the best and efficient service to our patients.
Have taken control of the pharmacy’s process and taken responsibility of simplification and ensured we are running in the most efficient and productive way possible. Recently I have taken the lead role with the pharmacy’s audit and compliance issues. I have taken conference calls with area managers as well as discussions in how the improvements can be made and targets reached.
I’ve worked for various Boots stores through out Leicestershire as a relief dispenser in the pharmacy as well as in the operations team supporting stores with merchandising, store refurbishment projects and implementing optimised model day by training and supporting colleagues.
