University of Southern California
Bachelor of Arts, Medical Public Relations, Nutrition & Health Promotion
I arrived at USC as, originally, a drama major, convinced I wanted to work for a regional company, ready to devote my life to the stage. After a run-in with chronic illness my freshman year, I began taking physiology class with the Keck Medical School as a way to better educate myself on healthy living habits (and fill an elective slot or two). Instead, I fell in love with the field of health and wellness. More specifically, I become fascinated with the power of nutrition and preventative health. In the fall of my sophomore year I transferred into Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and declared a nutrition and health promotion minor with Keck.
This upcoming fall I'll be continuing my education as a graduate student at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, studying clinical dietetics and working towards my Registered Dietician's license.
