My position was to be the head of the front end. I was the supervisor over all positions on the front end. I was in charge of writing job performance reports and giving yearly reviews. I also did interviews for hiring of new associates. To act in place of the manager for problems and concerns regarding membership issues.
Supervise associates on the front end of the club. Assist in over rides at the cash register and correct register problems. Assist at the membership desk in all aspects, handle member issues in a timely manner and communicate to managers about potential situations. Keep accurate and detailed reports and records. Handle money and provide change for the cashiers.
Greet prospective members and inform them of membership types and the benefits associated with each type. Encourage members to apply for lines of credit and enrich their membership to the Plus. Operate a register to assist the members in refunds, exchanges or purchases. Deal with problems that may arise and find solutions. Operate a cash register and computers. Restock merchandise, print signs and keep accurate paperwork.
Check members out at the cash register. Assist members in locating merchandise throughout the club. Encourage members to sign up for credit and enhance their membership to the Plus.
