I work with a wide range of internal business partners (operations, clinical leadership and medical providers) to build measureable market growth for areas within Fairview, including: orthopedics, general surgery, sleep medicine, cosmetic vein services, vascular, Zipnosis online care and Fairview health plans. I also lead, manage and implement strategic projects for marketing and corporate initiatives.

Highlights so far:
• Served on the product development team that launched several employer and consumer health insurance products, nearly tripling the goal set for participants in the plans
• Launched several consumer-oriented products, including Zipnosis online care and home sleep studies for Fairview Sleep Centers, which led to increased the number of customers using our services
• Created and project managed fully-integrated advertising campaigns for Fairview’s Getting Better Together branding campaign, unifying our organization’s messaging strategy across several services and bringing in several thousand new patients
• Built, measured, and refined a consumer event strategy for the organization, allowing consumers to interact with our doctors and providers and increasing the number of new appointments in Fairview’s specialty areas

As a marketing consultant at Fairview Southdale Hospital, I was responsible for building measureable growth and supplying marketing tactics for the hospital's key service areas, including: cardiology, eye care, oncology, surgery, vascular and weight loss surgery

Highlight:
• Implemented and managed contract with Life Line Screening which provided affordable health screenings for older adults throughout the Twin Cities and built patient appointments in key specialty health areas

When I came to Fairview, I served in a graphic design role on the marketing team. Since there were only two of us, my fellow design partner and I quickly realized we needed to implement systems to help manage our work. And this is how the creative agency at Fairview was born. Our team was not only able to become a fully functional internal creative agency, but we also provided excellent advice to our marketing partners that greatly improved the quality and effectiveness of our work...and earned quite a few local and national awards in the process.

Highlights:

• Created fully integrated campaigns for Fairview Clinics, Fairview Sports and Orthopedic Care and Fairview Southdale Hospital (including TV, radio, print, outdoor and web)

• Fairview Clinics unaided brand awareness and perception went from third to tied for first in the market after integrated campaigns were introduced in 2007

• Fairview's creative costs dropped by 225%, and the number of projects handled internally increased more than 200% after creative services were brought under the agency’s direction

• Recognized by senior leadership two years in a row for work that defined and grew Fairview’s brand

• Creative agency was noted by corporate reorganization consultants as an industry best practice for how to set up and run an internal creative agency

• Agency received over 30 local and national awards for creative work
