April 2008 I reported to California Correctional Center as a Correctional Officer. My duties for the next 5 years included maintaining security of inmates within the prison and securing the safety of staff and the public. I was responsible for searching inmates and areas where inmates had access. I was responsible for maintaining security during visits between inmates and members of the public. I was responsible for receiving and releasing property of inmates. I was responsible for responding to incidents and helping to secure any situation that might arise. I was responsible for maintaining security of persons allowed to enter and exit the prison facilities. I was responsible for maintaining security of any tools and performing regular security checks of those items. I was responsible for transporting inmates within and outside of the prison facility.

February 18, 2013 I was hurt and places on leave until December 2013

I was the head cook at Mckinley Elementary School. My job duties included preparing breakfast and lunch for the around 300 children at the school. I was responsible for maintaining safe food standards and practices. I kept record of amounts of ingredients used, the amount of food prepared and the temperatures of food stored and prepared. I was responsible for stocking and rotation of foods I maintained a clean and safe work environment. I worked with my supervisor to plan menus and to order ingredients. I also worked to prepare special lunches for student for field trips. I supervised two other cooks as part of my duties.

In March 2006 I left McKinley School to take a job at California Correctional Center as a Correctional Supervising Cook.
