I am responsible for any shift from open to close in this store. My responsibilities include handling cash and credit card transactions, managing as many as ten employees in a shift, ensuring guests are treated with respect and enjoy their visit whether they are inside the restaurant or in the drive thru, ensure guests receive fast, accurate and courteous service.
I am responsible for closing out all cash and credit cards at end of shift, managing labor to ensure it stays within acceptable levels in accordance with the sales during shift, ensuring an acceptable level for speed of service for our guests during shift, ensuring good service and good food quality during shift, maintaining a clean and safe restaurant as well. I also responsible for assisting in maintaining acceptable food cost, waste and inventory. Tracking that information on spread sheets for general manager as well as district manager.
In addition to those responsibilities I also handle the weekly schedule for our team members for our restaurant based on sales and labor percentage.
I also have reviewed applications, set interviews and hired team members.
I have also covered put store while general manager has been on vacation doing the ordering for store as well
