Plan, direct, and manage all aspects of agency administration including oversight and supervision of Disaster Assistance, Budget & Finance, Logistics, Grants, Human Resources, Information Technology, and all aspects of agency facilities and procurement
Serve as a chief policy advisor for the agency on homeland security and preparedness grant programs to the Executive Director and Governor's Homeland Security Adviser.
Trained and Experienced in serving as State Emergency Operations Center Commander or as the direct liaison with the Governor - positions responsible for drafting all executive orders and Presidential Disaster Requests.
Provide legislative and policy leadership including developing State and Federal legislative priorities and advising elected officials on all aspects of the emergency management and homeland security program within the State.
Reccommend updates, policy changes, and decisions related to emergency management and homeland security to the Governor and Senior Staff, Executive Director of Emergency Management, and Governor’s Homeland Security Advisor.
