Protect the President, Vice President, President-Elect, Vice President-Elect, immediate families of these Protectees, Former Presidents, their spouses and children (until age 16), visiting Heads of Foreign States or Governments to the US, their spouses traveling with them, other Distinguished Foreign Visitors to the US, Official Representatives of the US performing special missions abroad, Major Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates, their spouses within 120 days of a General Presidential Election, other individuals as designated per Executive Order of the President. Protect these individuals in the US and while traveling abroad. Provide protection for the White House, Old Executive Office Building, New Executive Office Building, Main Treasury Building and Annex, Official Residence of the Vice President, Foreign Diplomatic Missions in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area and National Special Security Events, when designated by the Department of Homeland Security.
Make arrests for offenses against US and DC laws. Compile arrest reports, vehicular accidents, sick and injury to the hospital, destruction of property, stolen or lost property, assaults and travel reports of job related trips by entering required data into computer. Request overtime, annual leave and/or sick leave by entering required data into computer.
