Analyze data to identify areas of focus for prevention and intervention to support the need for Nassau County Cribs for Kids chapter to reduce Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and sleep related deaths.
Identify programmatic and scientific areas in need of strengthening as well as new areas for program development.
Implement and develop a database importing and exporting data to act as a recipient log for Cribs for Kids participants.
Research and recruit potential partners and qualifying grant opportunities to support the ongoing project for Cribs for Kids, Inc.
Utilize evidence from quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify policies, programs, and resources to assist in improving community health.
Provide assistance on grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, and other awards to assist in meeting program objectives by writing grant proposals for additional program funding.
Develop and maintain data collection system to monitor, evaluate, and report program progress toward achievement of project goals and objectives.
Convey cultural and social competency to increase agency intervention effectiveness.
Revise and develop marketing material to target audience with cultural proficiency.
Convey data and information to professionals and public using a variety of approaches (e.g., reports, presentations, email, letters, and press releases).
Participate as a reviewer for CDC Objective Review Panel to score and review grant applications for CDC funded programs and/or projects.
Develop summations and reports to communicate process and findings as applicable to the targeted audience and or future grants.
