Consults with management and staff to design, develop and maintain a World Wide Web site.
Develops, writes and edits various communications materials including correspondence, newsletters, brochures and articles.
Develops and maintains effective methods for distributing communication materials and information.
Maintains required record-keeping and documentation.
Trans staff in the use of communications technology.
Implements a marketing and communications strategy for the Center for Science Education, improving its outreach to program participants and alumni, other Emory departments, and various external audiences.
Produces and manages written and visual content for departmental websites and social media.
Manage content for web-based research mentor database, and lesson plan library, including editing and formatting lesson plans.
Coordinates logistics for summer conference on quantitative biology.
Plans, writes, and publishes stories and/or press releases about Center programs and participants (via social media, Emory publications, external news outlets).
Documents program implementation with digital photography and/or video, developing a database of high quality images. Performs related responsibilities as required.
