PLAY Magazine

Writer and Editor

For three years, I worked for PLAY Magazine, the now-defunct weekly entertainment magazine found in The Daily Northwestern. I started as a staff writer for the music and city sections and worked my way up to editor-in-chief.

As editor-in-chief, I redesigned and reorganized our layout due to page cuts. I assigned and edited the cover stories for every issue of PLAY, managed a staff of section editors, columnists, and writers, did the final edits of every section, and approved each issue before going to print.
