Intuit Financial Services/Digital Insight

- Developed small business banking strategy to deliver retail and small business functionality on a single platform, which drove the closure of sales with >10M annual contract value. Presented and sold strategy to FI executives.
- Led a cross-functional team of 20+ engineers, architects, designers, marketers, program managers, and support analysts to develop entitlements/multi-user access product. Managed pilot and go-to-market strategy through the launch.

RDP Associate

Product Management and Marketing Rotational Development Program (RDP)

Rotation 1: Product Manager, Intuit Financial Services
- Drove releases as agile Product Owner of new online banking experience reaching 5M end users and 400 financial institutions. Managed feature prioritization, user research, and product requirements.
- Managed third party product partnerships with P&L responsibilities for >4M in annual revenue at a 50% margin. Re-negotiated pricing and developed additional preferred partnerships.
- Only RDP Associate selected to research network effect platforms that Intuit could draw upon to drive future product direction. Findings reported to Intuit VPs and cascaded to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Rotation 2: Marketing Manager, Intuit Health Group
- Led the go-to-market effort, including beta testing with end users and healthcare providers, for the Health Group’s first mobile product, launching it across all sales channels, including Allscripts, Greenway, and GE.
- Drove price tests in challenging enterprise/channel sales environment, created value proposition/RTBs and product/sales dashboards. Negotiated pricing with channel partners, achieving the desired price and margin.
- In first 3 months, mobile product achieved 30% attach rate to new sales, drove up ARPC on new sales by 30%, and saved over 200k in subscription revenue through retention efforts.


The Sharewood Project

President, Undergraduate Board

Responsible for managing a board of 14 Undergraduate students to assist with the operation of The Sharewood Project, a free healthcare organization run by Tufts Medical School in Malden, MA. The Board is responsible, as a whole, for coordinating Undergraduate volunteer sign-up and transportation to the clinic each week, volunteer training sessions, marketing efforts, fundraising efforts, and public health initiatives.

Key Accomplishments:
- Improved collaboration between Medical School Board and Undergraduate Board to speed the adoption of clinic improvements.
- Oversaw a five-fold increase in patient traffic due to a large-scale effort to build relationships with local community groups.
- Oversaw the implementation of new services such as a nutrition counseling initiative.
- Oversaw implementation of mandatory volunteer training to improve volunteer quality and the patient experience.
- Raised $1,500 in funding through the Tisch Civic Engagement Fund and the Tufts Social Justice Fund to support expansion and improvement of the clinic to deal with increases in patient traffic.
- Worked closely with Tufts PR to bring in NBC Nightly News for a "Making a Difference" feature (aired on National TV on 11/14/10).

Additional projects:
- Led the design and deployment of a web-based EMR and practice management system to improve the efficiency of the clinic while providing easier access to patient data for grant applications. Worked with team of developers to communicate clinic needs for the EMR system, piloted system in small groups at clinic and iterated to address problem areas, managed full-scale deployment and physician/staff training.
- Administered the Civic Engagement Fund grant awarded in December 2010 and the Tufts Social Justice Fund grant awarded in February 2011 to support expansion and improvement of the clinic.

FindJoey LLC

Director of Sales and Marketing

FindJoey, a startup company developed by three Tufts students, seeks to offer transit tracking software to hotels, universities, and other businesses and municipalities. FindJoey was a finalist in the 2010 Tufts 100k Business Plan Competition.

Key Accomplishments:
- Planned and executed early-stage sales and marketing strategy with the goal of gaining market traction.
- Focused on building company credibility with a few early-adopter customers.
- Helped develop the company business plan for the final round of the Tufts 100k Business Plan Competition.


Trimmer Lab and the Tufts Biomimetic Devices Laboratory

Student Researcher

Working with the Tobacco Hornworm (Manduca sexta), researched the neural control and biomechanics of soft-bodied locomotion. The information gleaned from research on the Tobacco Hornworm is being used to inform the design of biomimetic soft-robots.

Projects have examined the ontogenetic scaling of the caterpillar's hydrostatic skeleton (results published in the Journal of Experimental Biology in April 2011) and fictive crawling in an isolated caterpillar central nervous system (Thesis awarded High Honors in May 2011).

Work spanned the following areas:
- Biomechanics
- Ontogenetic scaling of body properties
- Hydrostatics within the caterpillar's body
- Motor patterns in the absence of sensory feedback (fictive crawling)
