During my shifts, I was responsible for helping customers and assisting them in the checkout process to ensure that they had a good experience. Was expected to utilize good customer service skills and to follow company policies at all times while interacting with customers and other store employees. I also was responsible for maintaining the front end of the store throughout the day and then closing down the front end at the end of the night as a part of closing processes. I also worked on the floor of the store frequently, assisting customers in finding items, as well as restocking inventory on an as needed basis. Finally, I was also responsible for maintaining adequate amounts of change in the registers.
